Founded in 1970 upon an initiative of Confindustria and a group of big Italian and multinational concerns – including Olivetti, Pirelli, and IBM – ISTUD has been training Italian managers and contributing to the dissemination of a modern management culture across the Country.

ISTUD is a cutting-edge centre for research and development of management know-how at national level, and a reference point as a think tank and a training organization. Big Italian companies refer to ISTUD to train their management teams.

In time ISTUD has been anticipating the trends and needs of the market and society, also expanding its reach to include Youths and Health Care industry.

Today ISTUD continues to pursue its mission by acting as a free and independent aggregator of entrepreneurs, managers, professionals, and young talents wishing to confront on topical and relevant issues.

ISTUD, Istituto Studi Direzionali (Institute for Management Studies), is founded

1971

First edition of the PSAD, Programma di Sviluppo delle Abilità Direttive (Management Skills Development Programme)

1995

Start of post-graduate Master activities

2002

The Health Care Area is founded

2005

ISTUD becomes the ISTUD Foundation for Corporate and Management Culture

2013

Included among the private research institutes accredited with the MIUR, the Italian Ministry for Education, Universities, and Research

2016

Four ISTUD Master programmes accredited by ASFOR

With our free and flexible approach, we promote the development of the management attitude through the ability to understand needs, adjust to contexts, design innovative courses by implementing a network of international companies and professionals and a cross-disciplinary Faculty.

At ISTUD, digital technologies allow to enhance the training experience at all learning levels.
