By train

The Stresa railway station is on the Milano-Domodossola line, it is possible to reach the ISTUD campus on foot in about 5 minutes, or by taxi from the station forecourt.

By car

The A8 motorway Milano-Laghi and subsequently the A26 for Gravellona Toce, exit for Carpugnino, allow visitors to reach Stresa in 60 minutes from Milano and 1 hour and 30 minutes from the Swiss border.

From the airports

From the International airport of Malpensa it is possible to reach Stresa with the Alibus shuttle bus.
