Classroom Lessons

Lessons and seminars are the best tools to utilize when the training aim is to communicate concepts, information and systems of interpretation. The frontal lesson in a classroom is the best way to teach theories which must be learned through the study of models. This is why it is the recommended method of teaching when the group in training is approaching a subject for the first time.
Depending on the different stages of the training programme and the material to be presented, teaching can take the form of a teacher-centred frontal lesson or of a more interactive lesson, where the teacher facilitates discussion and debate with and between group members. These lessons take place in a set location, a classroom, where teaching of theory and application takes place, and where the learning process is centred around the trainee, and is adapted to his/her learning pace, initial level of knowledge, and cultural frame of reference. All these factors are taken into consideration by the teacher conducting the lesson/seminar, in order to optimize the learning process for each trainee.
